


Bonnie Brown is a performer and theatre maker. Bonnie trained with St Martins YAC and Riot Stage Youth Theatre. Most recently Bonnie performed in Riot Stage’s Everyone is Famous (2021) and I am not a cake in the 2019 Melbourne Fringe festival. Bonnie is a Pisces and is too scared to learn any more about space.

Kate is a theatre-maker and director with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and original works. With an emphasis on formal experimentation, she is committed to making theatre that is creatively and socially accessible for artists and audiences. She has recently undertaken mentorships with ATYP and the voice in my hands, focusing on broadening her skills as an artist. Her productions have seen successful runs at Melbourne and Sydney Fringes and presented at La Mama Theatre, Bluestone Church Arts Space, The Butterfly Club, The Blood Moon Theatre, and Siteworks

George is extremely proud to be a member of this ensemble and has used this experience to explore authenticity in her identity as a queer woman. She has worked on and off stage as an actor and singer, and completed a Diploma of Acting at WAAPA before commencing a degree in Psychology.
She plans to continue on a path that combines her love of science with her love of performing, and hopes this performance gives its audience an opportunity to explore all the answers to be found in the forest of uncertainties we currently find ourselves in.

Josie/Jocelyn Deane is a programmer/freelance writer/editor at the university of Melbourne. Their work has appeared in The Suburban Review, Rabbit Journal, Australian Poetry Journal and Overland, among others. They have featured in the 2020 Melbourne Spoken Word festival, and in 2021 they were one of the recipients of the Queensland Poetry Festival Ekphrasis award, as well as the 2021 Ultimo Press Poetry Prize. They are a genderqueer transfemme. They live on unceded Wurundjeri land.

Maeve (she/her) is an actor and emerging writer and director. She trained, performed and toured with Circa and Flipside Circus’s youth performance troupes, before studying acting at Queensland University of Technology, and at Shakespeare and Company (MA, USA). Since moving to Melbourne she has appeared in multiple shows and also creates her own work.

Ez Kenworthy is a queer theatremaker, writer and actor who is deeply interested in physical theatre and live interactive visual art, and aims to convey the vastness of identity through honest, conversational pieces. After graduating from VCASS theatre in 2020, Ez is now in their first year studying a bachelor in theatre at VCA, with credits to theatrical productions, multiple short films and vocal performance throughout their explorations as a maker.
Though adjusted to an online performance format over the last two years of study, Ez is looking forward to expanding their repertoire through the online format of ‘zoom theatre’ and finally being able to engage with an audience (regardless of whether they're within 5kms).

From Bundjalung country to Naarm, Jess Lu (they/them) began their roots in youth educational theatre. After moving across states to study at the Victorian College of the Arts, they have played Antonio in "Twelfth Night"(dir. Sarah Cathcart), Helen in "Machinal" (dir. Daniela Farinacci) and Public in "Gaban" (dir. Budi Miller). Across the screens Jess has appeared in "Neighbours" (dir. Declan Eames) as Nora Ahmadi, Australian web series "Scattered" (dir. Logan Mucha), a feature in "Make the Grade" music video (dir. Domini Marshall), and "Bagua"(dir. Michelle Keating). Jess also vastly enjoyed directing 2021 short film "Even the Dinosaurs Were Young". Jess takes much joy and excitement in every creative pursuit, ready to work on the right projects with fire and joy. They are terrified of the expanse, but excited by the uncertainty of everything.

Weijia (Silvia) Shao | Master of Design for Performance
Silvia Shao, interested in conceptual and abstract works, considers herself as a creative-work lover. She believes there is no boundary on what she can do, either as a ‘designer’, or as a ‘human’, an ideology carrier. Although specifically trained as a set and costume designer, she loves working closely with lighting and sound. During her time at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), she has developed her interests in architecture, graphic design, and contemporary dance.

Nikki Viveca is a multidisciplinary artist whose work encompasses poetry, standup comedy, theatre, improv and burlesque. She is a graduate of the VCA and lives and works on Wurundjeri country in Naarm / Melbourne.
In 2019 Nikki was the winner of the Midsumma Poetry Slam and Melbourne Spoken Word’s inaugural Trans Poetry Slam, as well as being a runner up for the Melbourne Spoken Word Prize. Her previous shows include Asexual Healing, The Lazy Show, Wasp Movie, Three Dollar Bill, Amy and Nikki’s Sparkle-licious Sleepover and asexual variety night ACEtravaganza. She has also appeared recently in Guerilla Sabbath, Thrive, POPOMOCO’s Summer of the 17th Doll, Completely Improvised Potter, MTC’s Cybec Electric and cabaret spectacular Gender Euphoria, which was nominated for best cabaret in the 2020 Green Room awards.
During the time of the pandemic, Nikki has mostly been focused on poetry and some of her poems were featured as part of the 2021 Midsumma Festival’s Life in the Queerantine exhibition at ACMI.
